BBC Radio 3: 'In Tune'

On 10 December, Lowe Ensemble visited BBC Broadcasting House to speak with BBC Radio 3 presenter Katie Derham ahead of their upcoming concert at the National Centre for Early Music (NCEM) on 12 December. The ensemble also performed live excerpts from Echoes of the Spanish Baroque, offering audiences a preview of the final concert of their UK tour.

Lowe Ensemble made a special appearance at BBC Broadcasting House on 10 December, joining esteemed BBC Radio 3 presenter Katie Derham for a conversation about their artistic work and their forthcoming performance at the National Centre for Early Music. The ensemble’s appearance comes just days before their 12 December concert, which will mark the conclusion of their UK tour.

During the live broadcast, Katie Derham spoke with the ensemble about the creation and evolution of their programme “Echoes of the Spanish Baroque,” exploring the rich musical heritage that informs their sound and performance style.
